This is because National Knitting Week is next week and we have a day of mini workshops which we know you won’t want to miss. Window Watch...
This month we are looking forward? to Autumn and Halloween with a great jumper knitted in Croisette. A textured summer yarn which is made mainly of cotton but is incredibly warm and soft. It is a beautiful style and is the last ray of Summer at The Hut. I have to thank Andrea whose hands have been flying to finish this jumper in time for our newsletter! Keep watching our window as it becomes more Autumnal over the next week or so.

Open All Hours!
It is with great excitement that I can tell you that from the beginning of November we will be open on a Monday. We have previously used this day for our workshops which will now be held at The Institute as the Pre-school which used to use it have now moved to Swallowfield School. This will enable us to have a few more places available on our workshops, although we will still keep numbers low to ensure everyone gets the most out of the day. We will be open from 9.30am - 4.30pm and look forward to seeing you.

New Season, New Yarns
The two new magazines from Lana Grossa have some great patterns in them. The first, Merino Booklet, showcases Lana Grossa?s range of 100% Merino yarns. The design above uses Bingo, an Aran weight 100% Merino yarn which is just £3.75 a ball.
The new Handknitting Magazine, No 27, is bang up to date and covers the whole Winter range of beautiful yarns. The two images below use ?Babykid? (left) and ?Tocco? (right)
We are now eagerly awaiting the new Accessories booklet. I have seen a preview and it looks great!

This month we are featuring one of our supplier’s websites as it provides loads of information about patterns and yarn and some great images. Just make sure you’re on the English pages (click “English at the bottom of the page)? and you will find an over view of all their yarns, full images from all their pattern books, great knitting tips and free downloadable patterns. Lana Grossa publish one pattern each month and they can be found under “Model of the Month” (this month’s model is shown above). Click on “Knitting Tips” and you will find a whole host of information!
